Unwind, let go of perfection, and enjoy a creative Blooming Sketchers session with the Stripy Art Club at Carisbrooke Flower Farm, a relaxed, pressure-free workshop designed around intuitive drawing, color, and the joy of nature.
This workshop is entirely about getting a feel for using pen and watercolour. Surrounded by rows of blooming flowers, we start the workshop by picking a beautiful jam jar posy from the fields to use as your drawing model. From there, we jump straight into experimenting with fluid lines, quick sketches, and messy, beautiful watercolor layouts over ink.
You will draw your unique posy, and then wander the flower field to find and sketch your favorite area of the farm. With simple tips and guidance, you will create a personalised collection of fast, expressive floral drawings. At the end of the day, you get to take home your sketches along with your freshly picked jam jar posy!
